近期全国多个地区发生新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情，面对疫情，中国政府已经采取措施全力遏制疫情蔓延。四川省于1月24日启动了全省重大突发公共卫生事件一级响应，全力做好疫情防控，保障人民群众生命安全和身体健康，打赢这场疫情阻击战。与此同时，国家十分关心在华工作外国友人的身体健康和生活保障，请大家积极做好防护，抵御新型冠状病毒。

四川省科学技术厅（四川省外国专家局）温馨提示如下：

The outbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) has recently influenced many areas in China, all-out efforts are being made by the Chinese Government to curb the spread of the disease. On January 24, 2020, Sichuan has launched the level I public health emergency response to contain the disease and protect people’s life and health. Our nation is very concerned about the health and livelihood of foreign friends working in China. Please take active precautions in this fight against the coronavirus.

Science and Technology Department of Sichuan Province(Sichuan Provincial Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs) would like to ask you to check the following notice and inform your friends and families around. Take care and be safe.

一、从权威机构了解相关信息。您可关注“健康中国”“健康四川官微”“川报观察”和“四川外事”等官方媒体微信公众号和微博，获取新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情、四川省定点医院名单和有关疫情防控指引措施等信息，也可致电四川省卫生健康委值班电话：028—86131488，了解相关信息。

I. Follow authoritative source for latest information 

For the updated information of the epidemic, the list of designated hospitals in Sichuan, and prevention and treatment guide, please :

follow the news posted by“Jiankangzhongguo”(the official wechat account run by National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China, “Jiankangsichuan guanwei”(the official wechat and weibo account run by Health Commission of Sichuan Province) and other official wechat accounts such as “Chuanbaoguancha”、”Sichuanwaishi”. 二、加强自我防护。请保持良好的卫生习惯，佩戴口罩出门，注意卫生，勤洗手。适当开窗通风，注意保持室内环境卫生。避免接触任何野生动物或禽类动物，肉类和蛋类请彻底煮熟后食用。

II．Daily prevention

Please keep good hygiene practices. If you have to go out, make sure you wear a mask properly. Pay attention to hygiene and frequently clean hands using soap and water. Open windows and ensure good ventilation at home. Avoid touching wild animals or farmed livestock. Avoid consuming undercooked meat or eggs.

三、尽量减少外出。请尽量避免前往人员密集的场所，尽量减少聚会聚餐等集体活动。若出现发热、咳嗽、胸闷、乏力等症状，请及时到我省正规医院发热门诊就诊。

III. Avoid going out

Avoid going out to crowed places as much as you can. Avoid group activities, such as parties. If you are not feeling well or have symptoms such as fever, fatigue, cough and difficult breathing, go to the fever clinic of designated hospitals nearby in time according to your physical condition.

四、配合联防联控。如果您从外地抵川， 请密切关注自己的健康状况，一般需要主动居家隔离14天，每天测量体温并做好记录。出现发热等症状应当及时向当地疾病预防控制机构和所在单位报告。如有当地政府、社区工作人员、医务人员做疫情防控登记询问您的情况，请予以理解支持并积极配合。

IV. Support our joint prevention and control efforts

If you come from abroad or other provinces, please pay close attention to your health condition. Generally you need to rest at home for 14 days, and monitor body temperature of yourself and family members and make records.  If you have Fever and other symptoms, please report to the local CDC and your employer as early as possible. Please cooperate with the government or community personnel and medical staff if they inquire about your conditions..
